Queer Spirit SA

Who we are

We're Ancois ("an-swa") and Amy.

For years we've been exploring sacred sexuality, embodiment, and kink in heteronormative spaces. We felt alienated in tantric temples, where facilitators spoke of Shakti and Shiva, and the divine energetics that flow between the Yoni (vagina) and Lingam (penis). We felt like a fetishised spectacle in spaces with straight men, and were uncomfortable with the lack of diversity and inclusivity.

We kept searching for queer sacred sexuality, embodiment events in Cape Town, and when we  and we were often the only queer people in the room.

We believe in the aliveness that comes when sexuality, spirituality, and connection are woven together without shame.

We believe queer people deserve to explore all of it—love, sex, desire, kink, embodiment, pleasure, sacred expression—in places where you don't have to hide any part of what you are.

So we created this. An offering. A home for queer exploration and connection.

— Ancois & Amy Nelson

Our space

A community space for queer people exploring the intersection of sexuality, spirituality, kink, and authentic embodiment.

We centre sacred sexuality, conscious desire, erotic wisdom, and shame-unshaming as pathways to liberation and wholeness.

This group functions as a notice board for workshops, circles, and events created for queer people, while also supporting connection between members interested in conscious exploration, embodiment, and community.

This space is neurodivergent-supportive.
